Celebrity Cruises "Perfect" Promotion Discounts Unveiled
Posted by: CruiseReporter on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 - 11:38 AM
cruise_deals
Top-rated premium brand Celebrity Cruises launched a new promotion yesterday, featuring a variety of discounts and other offers for those seeking the "perfect" blend of sun, service and sophisticated cuisine. Offering low per-person-per-day rates, free and discounted stateroom upgrades and attractive family packages, the promotion is valid on select Caribbean voyages departing from November 16, 2009 through April 25, 2010, when booked now through November 1, 2009. Eligible cruises sail roundtrip from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Baltimore, Charleston and San Juan. During a booking window of October 26 - November 1, 2009, any travel agents who book any Celebrity Cruises Caribbean sailing departing between November 19, 2009 and April 25, 2010, will be entered into a drawing for a Caribbean cruise for two.

Known not only for its exceptional service and cuisine, Celebrity is also lauded for the comfortably sophisticated ambience onboard, perhaps most evident when lounging on one's private stateroom veranda, gazing out at the deep blue waters of the Caribbean. During the booking promotion, dubbed "The Caribbean Perfected," guests can upgrade their view on select sailings. Celebrity is offering free upgrades from an inside or oceanview stateroom to a veranda stateroom on select seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruises on Celebrity Solstice, roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale. For just $49 per person, guests can upgrade from an oceanview to a veranda stateroom on select sailings on the brand-new Celebrity Equinox's 10- and 11-night Ultimate Caribbean voyages from Fort Lauderdale, or upgrade from an inside to an oceanview stateroom on select four- and five-night Western Caribbean voyages on Celebrity Century, roundtrip from Miami. For only $99 per person, guests on select cruises on Celebrity Mercury, sailing from Baltimore and Charleston, can upgrade from an inside to an oceanview stateroom; the same rate applies to upgrades from an inside to an oceanview stateroom on select sailings on Celebrity Millennium and Celebrity Constellation, both offering itineraries roundtrip from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

"The Caribbean Perfected" also offers a steal in the way of inside stateroom rates. Based on double occupancy in an inside stateroom, the per-person-per-day rate (cruise only) is as low as $59 on Celebrity Century's four- and five-night Western Caribbean cruise roundtrip from Miami. On Celebrity Summit's seven-night Caribbean voyages roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, rates per person per day in an inside stateroom (cruise only, based on double occupancy) start from $79.

At rates starting from $99 per person per day in a inside stateroom (cruise only, based on double occupancy), guests can experience Celebrity Mercury's nine-night Bahamas and 12-night Eastern Caribbean cruises roundtrip from Baltimore - new to Celebrity this winter and repeating in the winter of 2010-11. At the same starting rate of $99, guests can enjoy Caribbean getaways on Celebrity Millennium's nine-, 10-, 11- and 15-night Southern Caribbean cruises from San Juan; or Celebrity Constellation's 14-night Exotic Southern Caribbean cruises from Miami.

The special rates offered as part of "The Caribbean Perfected" can allow families of four to sail for as low as $1,199 on a sailing less than six nights in length; as low as $1,499 on a sailing seven nights in length; or as low as $2,209 on a sailing of nine nights or longer. These prices are cruise only, based on four persons in an interior quad stateroom.

Interested travelers should visit Celebrity Cruises website for additional details.
Travel agent partners who book Celebrity's Caribbean cruises departing between November 16, 2009 and April 25, 2010, during the specified booking window, will receive one entry per booking. On November 9, seven winners will be selected. Each winning travel agent partner will receive a Celebrity Caribbean cruise for two, sailing between December 1, 2009 and April 30, 2010. Eligible prize sailings include sailings on Celebrity Century, Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Mercury, Celebrity Millennium, or Celebrity Summit in a Concierge Class stateroom, or sailings on Celebrity Equinox or Celebrity Solstice in an AquaClass stateroom. One of the seven winners, to be randomly selected, will be given the option to upgrade their prize stateroom to a suite at no cost, pending availability. Queen Mary 2 Balcony Upgrades Available on Cape Town to New York Segment of 2010 World Voyage
Posted by: CruiseReporter on Thursday, October 15, 2009 - 06:04 PM
cruise_deals
Cunard announces a special offer on the final segment of Queen Mary 2's 2010 World Voyage: the 21-day Great Atlantic Odyssey from Cape Town to New York, 25 March-15 April. Guests may reserve a Balcony Stateroom (Category B6) for the price of an Inside Stateroom (Category D8), promo code: RDK. The voyage truly combines the best of cruising with interesting maiden calls and Cunard's famed Crossings with an abundance of sea days. Highlights include a maiden call to Cape Town, South Africa and a 4-day Southern Atlantic Crossing over the Equator from Rio de Janeiro to Barbados.

On 25 March the ship will make her maiden call and overnight visit to Cape Town. Sitting on a beautiful bay beneath Table Mountain along the peninsula of the Cape of Good Hope, its historic waterfront and Cape of Good Hope Nature Preserve are among the city's many attractions. Queen Mary 2 then enjoys two days cruising the South Atlantic Ocean before calling on St. Helena, a small island 1200 miles off the coast of Africa, another maiden call for Cunard's flagship. The remote island is best known as the place where Napoleon Bonaparte spent the last six years of his life under his second exile. It is also home to some of the world's finest coffee plantations.

From there, Queen Mary 2 is at sea two days, heading toward Rio de Janeiro where guests can enjoy spectacular vistas and renowned beaches, such as Sugarloaf Mountain and the fabled beachfront districts of Copacabana and Ipanema. She then sails for four days before calling on Barbados, affording guests British cultural influences, great duty-free shopping and colorful underwater snorkeling at Turtle Bay.

The voyage concludes with the option to disembark in either Fort Lauderdale, Florida on 12 April, or in New York on 15 April.

"This segment of Queen Mary 2's World Voyage - with its appealing blend of maiden calls, fascinating ports and abundance of sea days - truly embodies the Cunard classic ocean liner adventure," said Peter Shanks, president of Cunard Line. "We're pleased to make this voyage even more compelling with this attractive upgrade offer."
